(01) — The project
The challenge
Aurelle was launching its first fine-jewellery collection online and wanted it to feel discovered, not displayed. A standard product grid would flatten pieces that are made to catch the light.
Our approach
We rebuilt the Paris atelier as a real-time WebGL space. Sunlight tracks the visitor's cursor across plaster arches, and each piece rests on its own plinth, revealed only when you walk close enough. Every material was hand-tuned so gold, pearl and stone react to light the way they do in the studio.
Behind the scenes, a lightweight scene loader streams textures as you move, so the experience opens in under three seconds on mobile.
The outcome
The launch page became the brand's most-shared link of the year. Visitors spent an average of 4 minutes 20 seconds exploring, and the collection sold through its first edition in nine days.
